Sculpture
In the Rodin programme for the ‘Rolf on Art’ series for BBC TV, I was asked to create a sculpture of a pair of hands as Rodin had done, first modelling the hands in clay and then casting them. It was a fantastic experience both learning about how Rodin operated and creating three dimensional artwork of my own.I found it hugely rewarding and thrilling to know that it was possible to do something as complicated, and I’d like the thank the people at the casting foundry who nursed me through the whole process.
