This July Rolf celebrated 65 years in art when he unveiled a superb array of works at the private opening of the new Clarendon Fine Art gallery in London’s Dover Street, Mayfair. The exhibition, entitled ‘A Life in Art’ includes paintings, drawings and lithographs, and represents some of the finest work of his long and illustrious career. As well as 65 years in art, this year also saw Rolf’s 80th birthday and the event at Clarendon marked both the official launch of the stylish new art venue and a fitting birthday tribute to one of the nation’s most popular and well known artists. The exhibition opened to the public on Friday 2nd July with works going on sale and will remain on display until 19th July, when it will begin a nationwide tour.
